Folk In A: Music

As I drove by the Santa Clara Humane Society one day my first thought was "How wonderful that we have a place for lost cats and dogs."   My second thought was "What do we do for lost people?"

I guess one answer would be a Broken Hearts Rescue Society.

A Humanitarian organization - a 501C3
Our mission is to help those sorry people just like me
Find a home, mend their hearts and end their misery

These hearts just need a home
Please consider taking one,
Make one less feel alone.

As you walk through, you will see some people on display
They could be a great companion, they could love you every day
You might need to understand that they might need repair
Some love to put them back together, and some kindness to keep them there

There's Ernie, he's a sweet old guy,  who really loved his wife
But he couldn't stop his drinkin' till it ruined his life
He's been sober now for five long years, has his five year sober token.
And now he clearly understands, how his heart became so broken.

And here's Evangelina, she is such a pretty thing
She was always taught her place in life was to make her man a king.
But Andy was the kind of guy, who was angry all the time.
And he beat Evangelina till she almost lost her mind
