Fixin Me

One night in a hotel room, I found myself watching paid programming on TV.   It became obvious that the one thing they had in common was convincing you that your were not OK the way you were, but if you'd buy there product you would be.

The face spackle ad was the one that put me over the edge.

I'm sittin' here watching paid programing on TV
Tryin to find all the things that are wrong with me.
There's things to fix about my hair there's things about my size
I've got to work upon my buns and thighs, so many things I didn't realize

Were wrong with me.    Wrong with me.
I'm so glad I found about them on Paid TV

I found out I need to exercise, well I kind of already knew that.
But I could look just like a muscle man and have 10% body fat.
I can slip a battery into this thing, and here's the best part yet,
It'll exercise my major muscle groups and I won't even break a sweat.

Fixin me.   Fixin me
I'm so glad I found about it on paid TV

I found out I have wrinkles, I didn't know I didn't need to have.
And all the women would love me better if I just smear on the salve.
It's going to shrink my pores, smooth my lines.
It's going to make me look younger, at least unless they're lyin';  about

Fixin me.  Fixin' me.
I'm so glad I found about it on QVC.

Well I've got myself some brand new hair, and a club about it just for men.
And I've got me a brand new video, to go along with my brand new gym.
And I'm takin' pills that'll make me strong, I'm takin' pills that'll make me young.
And I know I'll find my dream of dreams if I can ever believe I'm done.

Fixin' me.   Fixin' Me
I'm so glad I found about it on QVC
I"m busy fixin me.  Fixin me
I'm so glad I found about it on paid TV.
